Funny & Gorgeous

as some of you may well know, I love comedy, and am very, very, very keen on the funny and gorgeous Jon Richardson.  His stand up is the best I’ve seen………so to enter the Blog Candy draw ……. tell me who makes you laugh, and why?

As it will be my birthday next week, I thought I would give away 3 of my 2-5-7-10 bags, filled with some nice bits and pieces.

I can’t wait to find out your answers, and I will get my random drawer (Toodles the Kid) to pick a number in the time tested manner this coming Friday.

Right, I’m off to row my little butt off, have a good evening.

Sheeeshhhhhhhh, glad I’ve ordered some mini glue dots

just realised that I’ve smeared Diamond Glaze all over the tag when I was putting on the Zoomz – soz about that folks, very messy!

I fortunately added some mini glue dots to my frantic shopping on Friday, so I’m going to give them a go for fixing Zoomz – Hazel told me that’s how she fixes hers.

Right look at the post above!

*Fa La La* Tag

Papertake Tag

Just a quick tag I made to put on one of the many Xmas presents I need to wrap.

Supplies:

  • Sage Dark Prism Cardstock
  • Light Blue & Medium Cardstock (Papermania)
  • White Prism Cardstock
  • Mystic Medium Prism Cardstock
  • Frame from SEI Frame sheet
  • Red Check Ribbon (SG-me! spring release)
  • Stamps:  Snowmen (Magenta) Fa La La (Inkadinkado)
  • Berry Pie Mix Zoomz
  • Palette Noir Ink (Stewart Superior)
  • COPICS: YR09 (Chinese Organe); R17 (Lipstick Red); G09 (Verenose Green)
  • Corner Rounder

How to:

  1. Stamp out the snowmen image on white cardstock and colour in with the COPICS.  Stick one of the frames from the sheet over the smaller snowman’s face.  Cut out the frame.
  2. Matt this on light blue cardstock, then medium and then dark cardstock.  Tear the bottom of the medium blue layer.
  3. Stick Zoomz centred under the image.
  4. Layer again on medium blue, stamp Fa La La in Palette Noir ink at the bottom of this.  Tie red check ribbon in between the Fa La La and layered image.
  5. Cut a rectangular piece of the green cardstock, and round the corners and add the layered image piece.
  6. Punch a hole in the top and tie with ribbon.

I’ve been a little bit quiet

the girls came over on Friday, and it was marvellous to see them all….but since then I’ve just been so busy decorating (and a bit of Christmas shopping thrown in).

Good news, all the lining paper is now up, and Guy can start painting the room today.  Currently, he’s just doing the last of the wardrobe doors – they are having to be re-done as the Parental Control made a very bad colour choice – fortunately, he’d only done the doors before I vetoed it, and the rest was done in white.

Hopefully, I will have a bit of time for crafting today, especially as I am way behind on commitments again – I have to do Papertake! today and email off.

Whilst I think of it, I was a bit naughty when the girls went on Friday, and I ordered a Woodware Fingerguard Paper Trimmer – it took flippin’ ages to find a shop with them in stock.  I then had to order the blades from another store, and whilst I was in a Retail mood I went and ordered the remainder of the Sugar Nellies………I have no idea why I didn’t order them all on the first order.

I was so impressed with Petra’s trimmer, it cut straight and the blades were very easy to change.  Once it arrives, my Purple Cow will be up on the Marketplace on UK STampers.  I’m going to sell it, not because it’s horrid (it has a little laminator on it too), but because there is only sooooooooo much room a girl can have for tools, and I need to reduce storage down a bit.  The fact that I have a hot laminator too, means that the Purple Cow will not be needed.  I will give me Provocraft Green trimmer to Toodles though.

Right I’m off on the bread run………….which as we leave in the countryside means a 4 mile round trip for a loaf!
