I haven’t been around much, but I have been checking all the blogs from work (the system there won’t let me leave any comments at all) – sorry for neglecting you all comment-wise, but I hope to soon be back on song, and leaving you well deserved praise.
I got an unexpected invitation to something today. I can’t attend as it’s my Mum’s birthday, and also the day that the kitchen fitters start – YAY, well done Rob at Rencraft Kitchens, for managing to pull the proverbial rabbit out of the hat and get the date moved closer!
I have to admit to being addicted to these tiny note cards, made with the Nestabibilities largest scallop die.
Flower stamp is by Savvy Stamps, with Ginko Zoomz in the middle. “Thanks so much” is SU.
amazingly, he only took a day to finish this too.
Ohhhhhhhhhh, ain’t it lurverly.
just a quick snap of the newly painted kitchen, but minus it’s new floor, which went down today.
just a quickie – lilac cardblank, lemon ribbon, lemon & cream silk flowers.
“Happy Birthday” is from the same SU Sincere Saluations set.
just a quickish card for one of Mum’s friends – I’m feeling all Spring like and love the lilac and lemon colour combo at the moment.
Stamps: Do Crafts Sew Simple set, “Happy Birthday” Sincere Saluations set (SU).
The image is coloured in with various lilac/purple COPIC markers. Jewel brads are by Papermania. The flowers are from a new pack due to be released by SG-me! shortly.
Using my largest Scallop Nestability I cut out a card, and then matted using a smaller scallop of lemon, a rectangle of the matching lilac and a white Whispers White rectangle.
Tied some coffee organza aroudn the spine, and stamped “Thinking of you” (SU) inside.
The central image is a Savvy Stamp that we had in the Galaxy some time ago stamped in Perfect Plum (SU).
Wizard are bringing out some Megabilities Dies, which are very large, and specifically to use for card blanks – can’t wait to get my hands on them.
at Funky Kits, I’ve just completed my pre-order – the good news is they are shipping Internationally now too!
I was quite excited to find out that the kit came with a couple of sentiments as well – roll on early March when they’re going to be dispatched. I have a real Sugar Nellie fetish now.
Sorry, I haven’t been around: went to London with Mum and Toodles on Friday, and then came down with a nasty cold thing yesterday. Actually, I feel even worse today, but thought I would find the time to do a quick post on here.
We’ve gots tons to get through today, as the new kitchen floor is being fitted from tomorrow. Hence, we have to empty the whole of what remains in the room (sink, dishwasher, etc) in readiness.
Guy’s also struggling to put a Jali radiator cover together at the moment for No. 1 son’s room – by the swearing it’s not going too well!
as hubby has business responsibilities, that will take him til late tonight. I’ve just spent a good while updating my rowing stats, and now Lydia is anxious to get on the PC.
I was hoping to get round my Sisters’ blogs, but even that looks unlikely – so forgive me girls – I will try to get round to putting comments tomorrow.
this week’s Sugar Nellie challenge was to use Baby Pink, and this is my offering.
Baby Pink Bazzill 12×12 cardstock cut to 6×12, and then scored in half using my Scor-it Board. I also ran a couple of lines down the right hand side, which unfortunately don’t show up too well on the picture (dang the winter months, never enough time to take photos).
I then used the large rectangle nestabilities and cut a white one (SU Whispers White from stampingcaz) and a larger one in Razellberry Dark.
The image is Sugar Nellie’s Baby Mille, and as usual, I’ve coloured with COPIC markers.
Stamped “Best Wishes” (from my SU Sincere Salutations set), and added various claret/green with Pomegrante Zooz in the centre of two of them and a PM jewel brad in the centre of the other one.
