vBlog #9 – Nestie Storage

I promised a long time ago now to show somebody how I stored my Nesties, so now I have moved up to my “Winter” Studio, and settled everything in, I did a quick UStream broadcast.

It’s exhausting having a puppy

and has seemed to take up most of our waking moments since we got him.

There are also lots of other personal things going on, but hopefully the future will be fully decided on 8th March, and we can move forward in one of two directions (sorry that sounds a bit vague, but it would be long winded and exhausting for all of us to go through it all at the moment!!).

We had a quick trip to Ikea today to pick up another desk …. and I am now back upstairs in our dressing room next to the bedroom, as the studio is just too cold this time of year, and I also need a goodish internet connection to do Ustream broadcasts.

I have been a good girl recently, and actually managed a bit of crafting, and have nearly finished a mini journal, which was an Xmas present for a girlfriend.  I really have had so little time to work on it, but am glad that’s nearly there, as I want to share it with all of you and then move on to something else.

Moving upstairs on a temporary basis has meant that I can actually have my Cricut/Gypsy on the desk to play with, plus my heat gun and all the essentials, rather than hopping around all over the place to use and find my various bits of equipment.

I will be back in a few days with some videos I think.

Something new has arrived in our household …

oh hhhhhhh yessssssssss ……….. a GYPSY !!!!!!

I am so unbelievably excited – I did have a little bit of a play, but can’t wait to get seriously playing with it.

Chance might be a fine thing this weekend though, as we have birthday pressie shopping for Toodles and Mother in Law in the morning.  Need to get back by 1 pm as Toodles has two friends for a sleepover, and then the parents in law will be arriving later on for High Tea.  Plus, I have orders coming out of my ears, and blog candy and challenge stuff to get off.

The only chance I may have is when the girls are sparko on Sunday morning.  Unfortunately, one of the girls has to leave Sunday lunchtime for rehearsals, but Toodles, her other friend and I are off to see Avatar.

The poor old Rubbah Elf will be left behind to get on with decorating our en suite ….. we finally, got the shower installed – we’ve only been without the en suite since July, but it feels like a life time.  New shower is working, but we’ve been told that it is all strictly off limits til RE has fully decorated and the new flooring is installed …. could be without it ’til this July!!!

Happy New Year

I seem to have missed the New Year coming in, and slept through the whole thing – LOL!  We stayed in, and I was lulled off to sleep by Jurassic Park III (only because Toodles has watched it so many times) and woke up in the wee small hours.

Just to let you all know that the Toodles and Binks “I Want It All” draw will be done live this evening at 8.00 pm GMT over at UStream …. please pop over and have a giggle, and find out which lucky person that has taken part over on the Toodles and Binks Blog has won all the stamps plus a whole lot more….plus watch me be my usual mad self.

Plus get in first with comments on their blog, as the competition will be running again this year, and it can only get biggger as we release new stamps.  We will also be doing a once a month drawing for lovely people that comment on our UStream or YouTube channels, when you could win a T&B stamp.

vBlog #4 – Library Pocket Tutorial

I managed to get a quick video tutorial done this evening over on UStream (can’t upload to YouTube at the moment as they are doing maintenace work on the transfer facility).

I used Sid Silvertrail from Toodles and Binks and Copic Markers  – the full ingredients can be found over on the Toodles and Binks Blog .

Call me fickle, but I am getting a bit annoyed that I can’t seem to upload video on wordpress, and now that blogger seems to have resolved the annoying paragraph issue, I am thinking I might defect back to my blogger blog …. I will sleep on it for a bit though.

Library Pocket Tutorial

Hi all,

Earlier today I streamed live from the kitchen table on UStream, and made a library pocket.

As I had really told very few people I was planning to do it (in case I messed up – which I did quite a few times!) I decided I would record a tutorial for it tomorrow morning, and then do a live stream at 5 pm tomorrow again live from the kitchen table.

All you need to do is register log onto Ustream.com and search for “toodlesandbinks” and then watch away live, you can become a follower and I will schedule other live from the kitchen table streams over the coming weeks…..you’ll have to bear with me whilst I get the hang of operating the software, camera and talk and co-ordinate my usually non co-ordinated person around the whole thing….. still it should be a laugh and you could chat to me as well (if for no other reason than to laugh at me running in ever decreasing circles trying to cope with it all!!!
