this is on mine ………. I had a spare piece of the text paper, and so decided to try out my new Spellbinders Magnetic Plate (only thing is that I have yet to work out how to use it with the CB, and used my Wizard).
The dies stick like glue to the plate, and so it’s really super easy to make a frame.
Once cut out I used specially adapted Alcohol Ink applicator with Cut’n’Dry Foam to ink around all edges, and then stamped out the pretty SU flower girl on Whispers White cardstock and coloured in with Copics. Added Stickles to the flower heads, and Crackle Accents to the hat, then placed the frame over the image.
’twill probably look mega pretty on a box, and so that might be the next thing on my list this weekend.

We are excitedly awaiting the return of the Rubbah Elf in this household tonight, as he’s been away on business in Italy, the house is just not the same with out him!
Tomorrow is a busy day, as we’ve got to be at Bluewater early doors for Toodles uniform fitting, and then general food shopping etc., in the afternoon, but hopefully I can make a start on my box – it would possibly make a nice housing for choccies for each of the girls on thir last day at work in September.
Have a good evening, and happy crafting.
Toodles & Binks recently set a challenge to use some packaging leftover from Christmas, or something you didn’t want or need, and this is my belated entry.
A lot of crafters are now decorating the backs and insides of the cards, and this is my first (poor) attempt at it, but the insert gallery option is playing up, so I’m giving up and not showing that!!!!

I need to use this stamp, but had to come up with some kind of festive twist with it.
Actually, I’ve moved things on again since taking this, and have made a rectangular box to place a goat in (yes, a goat ….. well, a cyber goat anyway from Oxfam) – I thought I’d put a little label that says “care: contents contain nuts” on it too. I am currently in the process of cutting out a massive amount of Limeade Snowflakes and circle middles to go all around the edge. As well as the cyber goat there will be an Adam stamp (mounted on kling) and some liquer choccies.

I am working on a detailed project sheet for this, and will post it on the Toodles & Binks blog later on today, but thought I’d share in the meanwhile.

sorry, it’s had to be photographed flat, as the Pearlidoodles are still drying.
It’s the first time that I’ve had a chance to take part in Isa’s Ismaki Challenges.

this week’s challenge was to create something for a female – perfecto – it’s Paula’s birthday on Saturday, so I used my new Chicken stamp.
OMG, I had such trouble with the MM magnetic stamps I’ve lost the handle that came with them, and had to use a magnetic block – know I remember why they’ve pretty much never been used. I have to say that they are just the perfect size, obviously I just need to persevere with them though.
Quite a plain card, and I’m not sure if there’s something missing. Possibly I should have matted the pattern paper down the middle.
I saw one of them there MM ribbon tag attachment tools – sorry, I know that’s a really bad description – I think I might want one. Rather than rely on that dodgy description, I’ll try to find a demo clip of it.

Using my largest Scallop Nestability I cut out a card, and then matted using a smaller scallop of lemon, a rectangle of the matching lilac and a white Whispers White rectangle.
Tied some coffee organza aroudn the spine, and stamped “Thinking of you” (SU) inside.
The central image is a Savvy Stamp that we had in the Galaxy some time ago stamped in Perfect Plum (SU).
Wizard are bringing out some Megabilities Dies, which are very large, and specifically to use for card blanks – can’t wait to get my hands on them.
