sorry, it’s had to be photographed flat, as the Pearlidoodles are still drying.
It’s the first time that I’ve had a chance to take part in Isa’s Ismaki Challenges.

Just to prove I can still do arty. Here’s the Charm to go with yesterday’s page. I wonder now if I should have done an arty page to go with it?
I don’t get to indulge in the use of my Cricut very often, but decided to have a play with the Walk in the Garden cartridge to make a 60th card for the Parental Control’s friend, Jayne.
It was so super easy to do, just cout out the individual flowers, and the 3 flower border, then stamped them with versamark and embossed with the Galactic Gold EP, or stamped with the SU dye ink.
Then layers them over the ribbon.
Just placed some Zoomz in the centres of the border flowers, and tied a bow of ribbon through the button.
I’ve tied lace down the side, and will attach a 60 tag to this later on.
Note: the swirls to the left hand side of the larger flower, were the centre bits left over from cutting out some leaves (they make a great alternative if you don’t have a swirl). I must get a cartridge with a swirl, so anybody got any suggestions which one I should get?
Super easy, super quick (probably 20 minutes including cutting out), and I’m quite pleased with it.

I’ve been very busy at the Kingdom of Blah, and felt a bit tired and emotional when I got home, but soon cheered up after a piece of two of toast, and the cheerful news that it seems the adored (Funny & Gorgeous) Jon will be carrying on the Sunday show. Russell Howard might even be staying (at least for a few weeks). Yay, my Sunday remains intact!

I actually broke out my embossing powders and Ecoline inks last night to make a birthday card or two for some friends next week.
Stamp the Savvy Dahlia both in Perfect Puleria & Aegean Blue, and tie around the purple ribbon.
Then prepare the background image by stamping the heart image from the Magenta Nov/Dec Stamp Club, and then emboss with Chiaro Flo embossing powder.
Paint over the whole thing with the Magenta Ecoline, allowing light and dark areas. When dry, iron off the EP to leave the white image. Stamp the vine from the Nov/Dec pack, and colour in with G16 marker, add Peralidoodles to the small dots on the image.
Over stamp the Magenta flower image in Palette Noir ink, and add the metal flowers/Prima. Matt onto the Razzleberry Light cardstock, and ink with Pefect Pulmeria Versamagic. Mount on the front of the card.
Place tiny dots of Perlidoodles in both Pink and Pearl in the centres of the stamped Dahlia images. Also add three larger dots of Pearlidoodles in the top and bottom righthand edges.
As usual, you can click on the image to view larger.

more makes from the Blush card kit, this time I used one of the chipboard pieces – the heart.
Finger-painted it with Jo Sonja’s Napthol Crimson, then stamped with the Anita’s Heart background stamp in Jet Black StazOn, added Versamark over the top and Chiaro Flo Clear Embossing Powder (SG-me!).
Also added some of the Hero Arts 3mm gems to the flower centres of the floral background paper.
and we are all set to go with this new product now.
You can check it out here.

I forgot to mention that I am trialing a white EP for SG-me! at the moment, and if it makes the grade we’re gonna need a name for it.
So the random number generator (aka Lydia) will pick suggestions from 3 people who post in the comments with a suggestion for the name, and they will get a nice sample of the Chiaro Flo as soon as it lands.
As a guide our lemon one is called “Zesty Lemon Pie” the blue is “Forever in Blue Jeans” the lilac is “Lilac Cloud” and the gold “Galactic Gold” ………..so get your thinking caps on and give me a suggestion.
** EDITED ** This blog candy is now closed, but thank you all for your suggestions, we’ve taken them on board and all but one of you has hopefully got your pot of Chiaro Flo (our clear EP now), I’m just waiting for the last lady to send me her snail mail. Watch Out for a further blog candy soon ** 10/8/07
just another quick card using the Blush card kit, but I went a bit off piste with the the elements, and used different rub-ons (still can’t force myself to use much of the chipboard that came with the kit, I’m preferring to just silicone the element instead). Added a tiny PM self-adhesive Jade pearl on one of the flowers, and different rub-ons on the blue heart and underneath the strips.
Also inked the edges of the strips with Mossy Stone Whispers Dye Ink. Inside is lined with some pink swirly pattern paper from my scraps box.
The larger heart is from the Blush kit too, but I coloured some of the elements on it with my Sugarloaf markers, and then (this is the bit of news bit) rubbed on Versamark and sprinkled some of our newest embossing powder “Chiaro Flo” over the top, then waited till it cooled down and did another layer of Versamark and Chiaro Flo.
It’s another really fabulous SG-me! EP, and I’m so excited that it’s in orbit – so often with clear embossing powders there are issues about the way they melt (or don’t properly) or they bead up, but this baby is top class………I should have an ETA for it to land tomorrow….and you will be the first to hear when it’s in stock.
