this is the made up box from last night.
I haven’t added any instructions for this, because they are included in UK STampers Newsletter, which will be out later this month (I know, at last I hear you cry).
Stamps used: Cactus Pink Wildflower Seeds, Paper Salon Build a Bloom Tin, Aud Circles & Sentiments Sheet.
Other: White PM cardstock, piece of Wild Asparagus paper (for scallop piece), Copic Markers (colours as per previous post), Stickles Diamond glitter, Cricut Mini Monograms (for scallop), organza ribbon in pale violet, small piece of Anita’s sticky ribbon (green).
By the way, if you’ve been even slightly considering COPIC markers (and as they are expensive, it’s a bit of an investment), I would completely say go for it ………. they are marvellous and I wubs ’em completely and utterly
this is the stamped piece for the box – I just thought that I would upload a quick pic of it.
I just need to cut the scallop for the lid flap, and make it up.
I meant to get some jelly beans for the inside, but I’ll have to do this on the way into Barracuda’s tomorrow, as Lydia needs to give it to her group leader as a thank you.
you can just make out the clear acrylic tag underneath the central flowers, which has a white paisley design on it.
The small daisy flowers (wild flower sheet by Cactus Pink) were coloured in with Sugarloaf markers, and then I ran over them with my Quickie pen and added Art Insitutute glitter.
Then I tied on the acrylic tag with the lovely pink ribbon, and added a Angel Kisses flowers in dirty green and dark pink, with a button from my Rusty Pickle Jar in the middle of them.
I stuck the flowers on the tag with Glossy accents.
Guy took a quick picture with his new camera – apologies it’s come out a bit of a garish pink, in real life it’s quite soft and glittery.
Well, that’s one of the cards done I needed to do this weekend.
Then cut out a square of brown cardstock and matted with silver mirri. On the brown square I stamped various different sized circles from Aud’s Circle Sentiment Sheet in fluid chalk ink. At the same time I stamped the “sending you a great big hug” sentiment from that set onto the silver mirri.
I already had the felt flowers which had previously been stamped onto felt with Aud’s Flower & Swirls set.
I made an insert for this one (which is not something I usually do) and stamped the small post image from the Circle Sentiment Sheet).
